The Platform operates in a single-layer browser-side architecture. There is no registration requirement, no account creation, and no user profile stored on E&P’s systems. You are not required to provide any personal information to access or use the Platform.

All data you enter into the SVE Instrument Suite — including revenue figures, EBITDA inputs, recurring revenue percentages, sector classifications, deal structure parameters, and any other financial or operational inputs — is processed exclusively within your browser. This processing includes all valuation computations, sector multiple calibrations, Salmon Threshold™ re-rating logic, IRR calculations, timing gate assessments, and LOI framework generation. None of this data is transmitted to E&P or any external server operated by E&P.

E&P does not collect, store, or process through this Platform:

E&P does not use web analytics platforms, session recording tools, behavioral advertising pixels, heatmap trackers, or any other first-party tracking technology on this Platform.

The Platform may use your browser’s localStorage functionality to preserve your session inputs so they persist if you reload the page during an active working session. This data is stored exclusively on your device. It is never transmitted to E&P or any external server. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data or localStorage through your browser’s settings. The Platform does not use first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes.

The SVE Instrument Suite does not utilize any artificial intelligence API, machine learning service, or external data processing service to generate its outputs. All computation is self-contained within the Platform’s browser-side JavaScript. No data of any kind — financial, operational, or otherwise — is transmitted to Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other AI service provider in connection with your use of this Platform. This is distinct from certain other instruments in The Salmon Index™ suite, which may utilize AI services for specific output generation functions under their own terms and privacy policies.

The Platform is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit sveinstrument.com, Cloudflare’s infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information — including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and access timestamps — for purposes of DDoS protection, security monitoring, and performance optimization. This logging is performed by Cloudflare at the infrastructure level and is governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. E&P does not independently access or use this infrastructure-level log data for marketing, analytics, or behavioral profiling.

The Platform loads typefaces (DM Serif Display, DM Mono, and Inter) from Google Fonts. When your browser loads the Platform, a request is made to Google’s servers to retrieve these font files, and Google may log your IP address and browser information in connection with that request. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Google Fonts does not set advertising or behavioral tracking cookies through font delivery.

If you contact E&P by email at support@thesalmonindex.com, E&P will receive the information you include in your message, including your email address and any content you provide. E&P uses this information solely to respond to your inquiry. E&P does not add you to any marketing list without your explicit consent and does not share your email address with any third party.

Because E&P does not collect or store your financial inputs or personal information through the Platform, the primary security responsibility for that data rests with your own device and browser security configuration. All connections to sveinstrument.com are encrypted using TLS through Cloudflare’s infrastructure. E&P implements reasonable measures to secure any communications received through support@thesalmonindex.com.

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale of personal information. Because E&P does not collect personally identifiable information through the Platform, most CCPA provisions are not applicable to E&P’s operation of the SVE Instrument Suite. California residents with privacy questions may contact E&P at support@thesalmonindex.com.

Users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because the Platform does not collect personal data from Users, E&P’s processing of personal data in connection with the Platform is limited to any contact information voluntarily provided via email communications. The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). E&P does not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to E&P through this Platform, please contact support@thesalmonindex.com.

E&P reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting as indicated by the updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
